CLIVE IS THE ONLY FOUNDER MEMBER LEFT IN THE BAND
Clive can also be seen at Hemsby Rock ‘n’ Roll weekenders as part of the House Band, and in this he’s fortunate to play with great bands and big stars, including names like Lew Williams, Ronnie Dawson and a countless list of other great artists. Clives favourite work would be standing in on tour for Joey D’Ambroso on tenor sax for the Bill Hayleys’ Original Comets in 2003. He also can be seen at Rockabilly Rave supporting many different artists from all around the world.Through the years, Clive’s had many TV appearances with his different bands, and radio appearances in the UK, Europe and America.Clive is now still playing in a various range of bands, including, The Surfin’ Gorillas, The Playboys and Jack & The Rippers.

Paul is from Brighton, he replaced Simon Still who left The Surfin’ Gorillas due to work commitments. Paul has played in local bands, but since joining The Surfin’ Gorillas he’s been on tour and proved himself to be a great and significant part of the band. Pauls dad, John Osborne is a great Ventures fan, and Paul grew up listening to his dads music collection, and has a fine collection of instrumental CDs himself. The first surf instrumental album was ‘Surfbeat at 80’ by Jon & The Nightriders, from California USA

Catherine joined the band early 2009. Her first gig with The Surfin’ Gorillas was at Lady Luck, in London.

Dave Finlay has got one more gig with The Surfin' Gorillas, he is leaving at the end of this year due to other commitments. If you're interested in playing drums with The Surfin' Gorillas, e-mail clive66osborne@yahoo.co.uk
