CLIVE IS THE ONLY FOUNDER MEMBER LEFT IN THE BAND
Clive can also be seen at Hemsby Rock ‘n’ Roll weekenders as part of the House Band, and in this he’s fortunate to play with great bands and big stars, including names like Lew Williams, Ronnie Dawson and a countless list of other great artists. Clives favourite work would be standing in on tour for Joey D’Ambroso on tenor sax for the Bill Hayleys’ Original Comets in 2003. He also can be seen at Rockabilly Rave supporting many different artists from all around the world.Through the years, Clive’s had many TV appearances with his different bands, and radio appearances in the UK, Europe and America.Clive is now still playing in a various range of bands, including, The Surfin’ Gorillas, The Playboys and Jack & The Rippers.


Paul is from Brighton, he replaced Simon Still who left The Surfin’ Gorillas due to work commitments. Paul has played in local bands, but since joining The Surfin’ Gorillas he’s been on tour and proved himself to be a great and significant part of the band. Pauls dad, John Osborne is a great Ventures fan, and Paul grew up listening to his dads music collection, and has a fine collection of instrumental CDs himself. The first surf instrumental album was ‘Surfbeat at 80’ by Jon & The Nightriders, from California USA


Catherine joined the band early 2009. Her first gig with The Surfin’ Gorillas was at Lady Luck, in London.


Back in the early 80's Ian at only 14 years old began touring with the Jumping Jacks and playing with big American Artists including Joe Clay , Hayden Thompson , Jimmy Wages, Larry Donn, Johnny Carrol, Linda Gale Lewes, Ronnie Dawson and most recently Sleepy La Beef and Marvin Rainwater. During his 30 years as a drummer Ian has been involved with a number of acts such as The Blue Rythm Boys, No 9, The Playboys and Jim Carlisle. He continues to play for a variety of Rockabilly, RnB, Surf and Blues Bands as well as performing as a one man band under the name of "Dollar Bill" .
